U.S. Immigration Policy Leader RJ Hauman to Debate at World-Famous Oxford Union
Washington, D.C. – June 5, 2025 — RJ Hauman, a leading voice in U.S. immigration enforcement and president of the National Immigration Center for Enforcement (NICE), will represent the America First perspective this Thursday at the prestigious Oxford Union, joining a centuries-long line of global statesmen and thought leaders in one of the world’s most iconic debating chambers.
A veteran of Washington’s policy trenches, Hauman currently leads NICE, is a visiting fellow at The Heritage Foundation, and also heads Stryker Strategies LLC, a consulting firm specializing in homeland security. The motion: “This House Believes No One Can Be Illegal on Stolen Land.” Hauman will argue in opposition.
“The very idea that a sovereign nation forfeits the right to control its borders due to historical grievance is not just unserious—it’s suicidal,” Hauman said ahead of the debate. “I’ll be there to say what too many are afraid to: Civilization isn’t a sin, borders aren’t a crime, and being white isn’t a confession.”
Hauman will become the first known alumnus of Clemson University to debate at the Oxford Union, a society that has hosted names like Ronald Reagan, Winston Churchill, Mother Teresa, and Malcolm X.
In a debate sure to spark international headlines, Hauman will deliver a forceful rebuttal to open-border ideology. “This isn’t about compassion, it’s about control,” he said. “They’re not challenging colonialism. They’re cosplaying revolution inside a civilization they didn’t build and couldn’t survive without.”
Drawing on more than a decade of experience fighting for national sovereignty, Hauman promises a “vigorous defense of Western civilization, the rule of law, and an ordered society free from mass migration.” His remarks will frame the debate as a battle between slogans and statecraft, performance and principle.
“At Oxford, I won’t apologize for borders or for civilization itself. I’ll make the case for deportation, for deterrence, and for unapologetic national identity,” he added.
A fellow NICE Board member praised Hauman’s participation as “a turning point in the global narrative.”
“RJ isn’t showing up with buzzwords or victimhood. He’s showing up with facts, with courage, and with the firepower of someone who has fought these battles in the real world,” Mike Howell, who will be in attendance, said. “He’ll say what the average citizen thinks but global elites won’t admit. Mass migration without consent is not justice. It’s erasure.”
The debate will eventually be posted by Oxford Union on its official YouTube channel.
